Once again, in 2010 the City of Olympia’s water quality test results were better than Federal regulations require. We continue to have fantastic water with no violations! We have details and tips on how to help us keep our water protected for future generations! We work every day to provide and protect nature’s water for a healthy community.

Water Quality Rebates and Programs Available
The City of Olympia, in cooperation with LOTT Alliance, has several conservation programs/rebates available, including:
- NEW! Residential High - Efficiency Toilet Replacement Program
- Rain Barrel Rebate
- Free Irrigation Assessments
- Free Rain Sensors For Irrigation Systems
- WashWise Rebates for Approved Washing Machines
- Free Rain Gauges
- Free Water Saving Kits for Sewer Customers
Also available to our commercial customers are:
- Up to 75% in Rebates for Upgrades with WaterSmart Technology
- Free Irrigation Assessments (including rebates on consultant’s recommended water efficient devices)
- Free High-Efficiency Toilets with Professional Installation
Protect Our Water Quality
Here are some things that you can do in your yard to protect Olympia's water:
- Plant native, drought - tolerant plants that require less water.
- Switch to organic, slow - release fertilizers.

- Water your lawn no more than one inch per week, including rainfall.
